Franchise Development Resale Specialist

Each of our bakeries is individually owned and operated. At some point, every owner needs an exit strategy, and most commonly that means selling their bakery to new owners. Whether they are ready to retire or move onto other professional endeavors, it is the goal of Great Harvest Franchising to assist existing owners with the transfer of ownership to new owners who will share our corporate values and who have a passion for running a great business.
As a Franchise Development Resale Specialist, you will assist existing owners with the sale of their business, help to locate new owners, and facilitate the sales process between buyer and seller.

Facilitate a smooth transition from existing Great Harvest owner to a new, qualified Great Harvest owner. Gather relevant data from existing owners necessary to move forward with sales process. Assist with promotion and lead generation for bakeries for sale. Qualify and nurture leads. Keep sellers and buyers on track through complex, multi-step sales process. Maintain accurate documentation and files for all relevant communications and documents. Provide timely feedback to all parties. Introduce potential buyers to the assigned franchise training staff member who will be the primary point of contact for the buyer for all operational needs including coordinating training, marketing, transition plans, etc. Coordinate closely with internal training and support teams. Gather feedback from internal teams to qualify new owners. Provide back-up support to other Development Department team members. Successfully walk buyers and sellers through every step through successful transfer of ownership.
- BA/BS degree in Business or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to build and establish rapport with sellers and buyers.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-departmental team members.
- Ability to work 40+ hours/week.
- Previous consultative sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous CRM experience, especially Sugar CRM experience is a plus.
Dillon, MT: This position is located in Dillon, Montana. We are a vibrant college town surrounded by public lands for all kinds of outdoor activities and world-class fishing. Requests to work outside of Dillon will not be considered.
