Great Harvest— wholesome, handmade, and never boring! Made with real ingredients and whole grain wheat from Montana's golden triangle. Instead of becoming a café, we have stayed true to ours roots as a dedicated bakery — offering a wide selection of breads including savory, sweet, whole grain, sourdough, and gluten-free, plus daily fresh-baked goodies like scones, Savannah bars, muffins, and cookies.
We've been a Stow staple since 1998 — first opened by Rick & Debbie Sands, and now lovingly run by Carl & Nancy May, who took over in 2019 after years of dreaming about owning a community-focused business. It truly is a family affair: all four of their kids have worked here, and two still do today.

Gluten X
We make Gluten X breads once a month by special order. We use gluten free ingredients, but because we are not a gluten free facility, it isn't gluten free. We mill flour in our store so there are trace amounts. Pickup is the last Friday of each month except November and December when we do it the Friday before the holidays. Orders need to be placed by the Wednesday before. We make 4 varieties: Original, Cinnamon Chip, Cheddar Garlic and Dakota (adds sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seeds and flax). Call or stop in to place an order.
Gift Baskets
In our society today, most people don't need more stuff! But everyone has to eat and what is better than fresh bread? We have soup mixes, preserves, honey, peanut butters, dipping oils and other great things to put together into a gift basket. We always have lots of bags and baskets to use and our staff can help you put together a custom gift. We also put together seasonal mugs with gifts inside for every season and holiday through the year. These mugs are only $20 and great for any occasion.
Catering
We can put together goodie boxes for any occasion. We often do a box with a sample of scones, bars, muffins and cookies. Just call ahead and we can make a box to serve 10 people or 100 people. We can do bread boxes as well. We have done hundreds of cookies for a church retreat and we do a cookie order every year for over 4000 cookies. No order is too small or too big. Just call ahead to plan what you want with Nancy.
Make Your Own Pizza Parties
Want a fun night out with friends, your church Life Group, or other groups? We are now offering you a chance to have a Make Your Own Pizza Party here at Great Harvest. This is available for adults OR teens with at least one adult. Groups can be 10-14 people and the cost is $35 per person. We make the homemade dough ahead of time and have all your favorite toppings to put on top. These can be scheduled for select Saturday or Sunday evenings. Farmer's Markets
From the beginning of June until the middle of October we take lots of our great breads and goodies to some area Farmer's Markets. On Thursdays from 4-7 pm you will find us at the Tallmadge Market held at the Rec Center by the Tallmadge High School. On Saturday mornings we take favorites like Cinnamon Swirl and Cheddar Garlic to the Stow Community Market. It is from 9:00-12:30 each week. It is just off Graham Rd. behind Briarwood Nursing and close to the elementary schools. There are lots of other great vendors at these markets as well so come check them out!
