        Family owned and operated and proud to serve our community.  We bake everything from scratch with fresh milled whole wheat flour, unbleached and unbromated white flour and clean ingredients.  We never use chemical preservatives or dough conditioners, high fructose corn syrup or GMO ingredients in our bread or sweets.  Most of our breads are sweetened with honey, an excellent natural preservative, and our sweets are made with cane sugar and real butter.  Come taste the difference!

        Reuben Sandwiches!

        Every Friday and Saturday in March, we will fire up the Sandwich Press and make Jenny's signature Reuben sandwiches to order! Succulent Corned Beef, Swiss Cheese, fresh sauerkraut, home made Thousand Island Dressing, all toasted on our fresh made Pumpernickel Rye! Call ahead 319-826-6357 to have them ready when you get here!

        Irish Stew!

        Dion's will be cooking up a big batch of his delicious Irish Guinness Beef Stew to serve on Tuesday, the 17th for St. Patrick's Day while supplies last. Come in for a bowl with a thick slice of Bread!

        Irish Cream Scones!

        Flavored with butterscotch chips and Irish cream Liqueur, these "Blarney Scones" are not to be missed. It's a good idea to pre-order, because they go fast. We'll be baking them on Saturdays all month!
