        Family owned and operated and proud to serve our community.  We bake everything from scratch with fresh milled whole wheat flour, unbleached and unbromated white flour and clean ingredients.  We never use chemical preservatives or dough conditioners, high fructose corn syrup or GMO ingredients in our bread or sweets.  Most of our breads are sweetened with honey, an excellent natural preservative, and our sweets are made with cane sugar and real butter.  Come taste the difference!

        Come Join us at CEDAR RAPIDS MARDI GRAS CENTRAL on Tuesday the 17! We will be dancing through the day at the bakery with Cajun music and Cookin' up an authentic New Orleans experience!

        Our recipe comes from the Café Du Monde in New Orleans. Our baker will prepare the pillowy dough from scratch, and Rosslyn will drop the first made to order batches into the hot oil at 10:00AM! Available till 2pm or sell out.

        GUMBO!

        Dion's famous Shrimp, Chicken, Andouille Gumbo, simmered for hours (Okra and Shrimp added in time to just cook through). Served by the cup with a scoop of Jasmine Rice ($7.00) or by the quart with a cup of rice to take home ($25.00). Don't miss this Bayou treat. Gumbo to eat in or pick up after 10:30AM while supplies last!
