Great Harvest Tempe has been a neighborhood staple since 2005 — a place where clean-label products meet genuine connection. In 2008, Ward and Leslie Walston purchased the bakery and created a beloved community hub, always leading with integrity, warmth, and a passion for honest ingredients. When we lost Ward in 2023, we lost a cornerstone of everything this place stands for. But his dedication shaped who we are, and we carry his spirit forward in every loaf we bake and every customer we serve.

Today, Leslie and her son George carry the business forward together — honoring its roots while building toward the future. Two decades in, we're still locally owned, still in the same zip code, and still committed to being more than just a bakery. We're a gathering place where neighbors become regulars and regulars become family.
