Great Harvest maintains an internal LMS (Learning Management Site) that functions as a communications and learning portal for our franchise community. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating, editing, posting, updating, and cleaning up outdated content on this site. You will also be responsible for keeping the information displayed fresh, informative and appealing.

The successful applicant should be very organized, detail-oriented, able to solve problems creatively and comfortable working with computer software and websites. The successful applicant should also be task-oriented, trustworthy, able to put themselves in the shoes of our customers and not afraid to ask questions or to learn new skills independently. We can work with you to choose hours that work best, sometime Monday through Friday between 8am – 5pm, 20 hours per week.

Job Description:

  • On-going maintenance and administration of our Learning Management System (courses and modules) to ensure our people always have the most current offerings electronically.
  • Keep information on the site organized and in a user-friendly structure
  • Manage discussion posts
  • Teach others to use this site
  • Add new content to the site as needed in various formats using video, screen recording, text and voiceovers.
  • Grow your skills and knowledge related to current practices, new methodologies and delivery systems for the site.
  • Be prepared to gather information incorporating Best Practices from busy subject matter experts.
  • Other job duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software independently, quickly and competently.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Self-starter with independence, initiative and drive to succeed, as well as strong organizational skills and a can-do approach to problem solving
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma

Dillon, MT: This is a part-time position is located in Dillon, Montana. We are a vibrant college town surrounded by public lands for all kinds of outdoor activities and world-class fishing.
